The first meeting for the Kerikeri Players was held at the factory on the 4th of May 1936.
It was decided Mr Benner would be chairman for year ending 1 April 1937.
At the meeting 1 June 1936 it was decided that the two 1 act plays would be "The Bishops Candlesticks" and "The Tender passion".
